Zeta Bar - PA Setup Procedure

PA is stored back of house next to the BBQ at the end of the corridor. 

Run power to each speaker and mixer then connect XLR cable from the mixer outputs to left and right front of house speaker in the top XLR input marked LINE A IN. Check the MAIN MIX LEVEL and AUX MIX LEVEL knobs are turned all the way down on the mixer then power on the mixer with the button on the rear panel. Now power on the speakers and turn up the Gain knob to the 0 position.

If using this system in conjunction with the subwoofer please use an XLR cable from one of the MIX OUT connectors on the front of house speakers to the INPUT connector on the subwoofer. Make sure the subwoofers GAIN knob is all the way down before powering the subwoofer on. Adjust the GAIN level of the sub to suit.

For the foldback wedges please use the jack to jack instrument cable to go from the AUX OUT connector on the mixer into LINE A IN on the speaker. To use 2 foldback wedges please use the MIX OUT connector of the first foldback speaker and into the LINE A IN connector on the extra foldback speaker.

Powering Down Procedure.

Turn down the GAIN knob on each speaker/sub then turn off each speaker with the power switch on the back.

Turn down the MAIN MIX LEVEL and AUX MIX LEVEL knobs on the mixer and turn off using the button on the rear panel.

Mixer Basic Setup

Inputs 1 and 2 are ideal for vocal mics, inputs 3 and 4 have HI-Z inputs ideal for guitar and bass without requiring a DI box.

Channels ST1 and ST2 are ideal for line level instruments such as keyboards/samplers/synths etc without the need for DI boxes.

ST1 can also be used for background music between sets using the AUX to RCA cable stored in the mixer road case.
